For improved accessibility in the kitchen countertops and appliances can be lowered for easy access. Pull-out drawers and shelves are easier to use. Larger open-style cupboard door and drawer handles are recommended for those with limited grasp. Cook top ranges can be open underneath for wheelchair accessibility.
