How to get the best value
We want you to get the best v
Prices vary depending on where you live, what the local and state building codes require, price of materials, permits, taxes, and labor rates. Prices will also vary due to different specifications and scope of work required. Keep in mind the wise old adage “you get what you pay for”. The information provided below is for general guidelines only. Minor Installations
A minor installation is anything a certified contractor can do in an hour or two, in some cases these can be done on the first appointment. Example: Install grab bars, swing-clear hinges, threshold ramps, etc… Cost - You can expect pricing to begin around $60.00 an hour plus materials. RampsA typical ramp should consist of the following: Built using earth (grading dirt) and installing cement sidewalk or brick pavers; custom construction out of treated lumber; installation of an aluminum or steel ramp; construct all concrete ramp. See ramps for additional information. Cost - a small threshold ramp costs about $100.00 installed. You can expect pricing to begin around $75.00 a linear foot for treated lumber ramps; $125.00 per linear foot for concrete or brick paver ramps; and $100 a linear foot for aluminum ramps. Examples - Prices for a treated lumber entrance ramp: A 24” high rise (approx. 3 steps plus threshold height) would require a ramp 24’ long and at least one landing, hand and foot rails - $2,300.00 and up. A 32” high rise (approx. 4 steps plus threshold height) would require a ramp 32’ long and at least one landing, hand and foot rails - $2,900.00 and up. ~Ask about our ramp rental program~ Bathroom RemodelBathroom remodels aren't typical due to the various designs and extent of accessibility required. If you are looking at removing a curb to a shower or replacing a bathtub with a new barrier-free shower these are relatively expensive remodels due to the amount of work. The existing materials nearly always require complete removal down to sub-flooring and wood stud walls and complete build up of new materials. Proper water flow and water-proofing are critical to a good construction remodel. See bathrooms for more information. A 10’ x 10’ bathroom basic remodel should begin around $11,000.00, and take approximately 7-10 days to complete. A 10' x 10' bathroom full remodel, from demo to build out, should begin at $18,000.00 and take approximately 7-14 days. Kitchen Remodel Cost examples: A 12' x 15' kitchen full remodel, from demo to build out, should begin at $35,000, and take approximately 10-20 days. Content Management Powered by CuteNews
